Mr. Rahul Vatts

Group Chief Regulatory Officer and Director, Corporate Affairs, Bharti Airtel Limited

Rahul Vatts is the Group Chief Regulatory Officer and Director, Corporate Affairs for Bharti Airtel, Director– OneWeb Communications India, and Vice Chairman of the Indian Space Association (ISpA).

He also chairs key industry groups such as the GSMA Spectrum Policy Working Group and the Asia-Pacific Anti-Spam Taskforce (ACAST), which is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between MNOs and digital ecosystem players.

A telecom industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Rahul is an expert on a myriad of subjects, including telecom licensing, digital regulations, spectrum management and regulatory litigation. He has had a leading role in shaping policy discussions around emerging digital issues such as AI, digital competition, and data privacy.

He has an engineering degree in telecommunications from University of Pune and is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad and The Wharton School, Pennsylvania.
